Food photography has always been a favorite of ours.  We get to take our time with it, get the light just perfect, and experiment with shapes, colors and textures in a controlled environment. So when a national deli meat and cheese company asked us to take photos for their website, we couldn’t resist.  After accepting the job, we received approximately 25 pounds of cheese, meats, and dip sauces.

The shoot went great, and the client was blown away by the pictures. The entire shoot was shot on my Canon 5dii with a 100mm f/1.8 macro L series canon lens and a Zeiss 50mm macro for overhead shots. Editing was done on my LG IPS monitor with Colormunki pro for screen calibration.

So the shoot was over and I was left with a LOT of meats, cheeses, dips, and sauces in my refrigerator.  I knew that if I kept them my personal trainer would hunt me down and kill me. Luckily, a friend was having a birthday gathering that evening, so we offered provide all of the snacks!  And trust us, it tasted even better than it looked.
